April 2026 Update From Kinstruct Tiny Homes

Spring has arrived, and with it a surge of energy here at Kinstruct Tiny Homes. After a long winter, things are moving fast, and we are excited to share what has been happening behind the scenes and out in the community.

A Note From The Founders

Happy April, Tiny Homes Fam!

It finally feels like spring has shown up, even if it took its time this year. The recent snow on April 7th was a surprise, but we are now seeing a real shift in momentum. Inquiries are up, site visits are increasing, and we are spending more time out in the community connecting with all of you.

The land hunt continues to be a major focus. The response last month was incredible, and we are building on that momentum. If you know of available land, parcels that could be subdivided, or towns open to cottage style developments, we would love to hear from you. This tiny home village effort truly takes a community, and we are grateful for the support.

Site visits are also on the rise. We are meeting more families who are exploring multigenerational living, and it has been inspiring to hear your stories. With that said, we want to set clear expectations. Building a home takes time. The pre construction phase alone often takes about three months, and the full process averages closer to nine months. It is not an overnight process, but it is one worth doing right. If you are thinking about your own timeline, reach out and we can talk through it together.

We have also been enjoying time out in the community. From trainings to events, it has been great reconnecting. We are sponsoring a Realtor trivia night, and in May we will be participating in both a golf tournament and a cornhole tournament. Warmer weather cannot come soon enough.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

In The Community

March and April were busy months for education and outreach.

Darcy joined Berkshire Hathaway Verani Realty in Salem, New Hampshire for an in person training focused on ADUs. Agents who complete Kinstruct training gain up to date and practical knowledge they can bring to their clients.

Jess attended a Culture Club meeting with Keller Williams in Nashua, helping agents better understand how to answer ADU related questions in the field.

Darcy also hosted a virtual training session with Keller Williams in Bedford, ensuring agents are equipped to guide clients through decisions involving accessory dwelling units.

Upcoming Events

May is shaping up to be a full month.

On May 15, the team will participate in the New Hampshire Home Builders Golf Tournament.

On May 16, Kinstruct will sponsor and attend the Verani Cares Cornhole Tournament at Tuscan Village.

On May 19, the team will partner with Homestead Inspections to provide a continuing education training session in Meredith.

On May 20, additional agent trainings will take place with 603 Realty and the Berkshire Hathaway Verani team in Londonderry.

New Partnership

Kinstruct is expanding services to better support families planning for the future.

We now offer aging in place occupational therapy services as part of the pre construction process. Kristin works directly with each family to understand lifestyle, goals, and long term needs. This ensures each home is designed for safety, comfort, and adaptability over time.

Builds And Progress

In Andover, a garage conversion is moving forward nicely. The ceiling height paired with a pine tongue and groove finish is creating a beautiful rural feel. The homeowner still retains two garage parking spots, which makes this project especially functional.

In Windham, the first ground breaking of the year has begun. This attached ADU connects to a standalone garage rather than the main home, offering a sense of separation. The design includes a full basement, and more updates will follow as progress continues.

Land Needed Across New Hampshire

Demand for smaller, more affordable homes continues to grow. Buyers from all stages of life are looking for these options, but land availability remains limited.

If you own land, know of parcels for sale, or live in a town that allows cluster developments or cottage style housing, Kinstruct would love to connect. There is real opportunity to meet a growing need across the state.

The Big Move

Work is progressing on the new office and showroom at 3 Glass Street in Pembroke, New Hampshire. Drywall is complete and painting is underway.

This space will allow visitors to explore a full kitchen setup from one of the models, compare flooring options, and attend educational classes. An open house is planned for later in 2026.

For Real Estate Professionals

Kinstruct has already educated more than 200 agents this year. The goal is to help professionals confidently speak about the evolving ADU landscape in New Hampshire.

The training is free and provides practical, real world insights. There is also a referral program available for agents and brokers who complete the training.

If you are interested, reach out to schedule a session. Spring availability is filling quickly.

That is all for this month. More updates are on the way. Until then, stay tiny and mighty.

Cheers,
The Kinstruct Tiny Homes Team
